Kristin concentrates her practice in elder law including guardianship proceedings, long-term care planning and Medicaid applications, estate planning matters including special needs planning, as well as decedent estate matters in probate court and trust administrations.

Kristin enjoys working with clients and guiding them through all stages of their legal matters. She is client-focused and quickly identifies her client’s needs and effectively explains complex legal issues to give her clients peace of mind.

Kristin is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and is active in the Illinois NAELA Chapter serving on committees and as a member of the Board of Directors in 2026. She is also a member of the Chicago Bar Association and participates in the Elder and Disability Law Committee and the Probate Practice Committee. She has co-presented at continuing legal education seminars on special needs trusts hosted by the Illinois State Bar Association and IICLE.  

Kristin supports the PKD Foundation and organ donation awareness. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their miniature schnauzer Charlotte, and cheering on the Cubs with friends at Wrigley Field.
